Movies where the guy doesn’t love the girl

I can only watch 10 Thing I Hate About You so many times. Looking for movies where the guy doesn’t actually care about the girl, and just uses her to fill a void. When the girl tries to love him, but is only met with silence when not needed. Bonus points if they were in a relationship at some point, but can’t get rid of each other. For lack of any other description except for a vibe like Sally and Linus in Peanuts. Definitely not based on true events, definitely not looking for something to show me the way out.
