I'm a natural 4c hair girly that's currently overcame hair dysmorphia. And growing it out while having fun! I know im gonna get a lot of flack for this because black women are stereotyped to be insecure about their hair, *especially since there is a lot of texturism embedded into the culture*. I don't think Beyonce saying "Becky with the good hair" in one of her most popular songs did us any favors either tbh. I constantly run into mainly older or even overweight white, or Spanish women that aren't as pretty constantly coming around me to showcase their hair thats obviously different from mine. They do it in a way thats very show off and it gives "Hey black girl, I know you think you're the shit but you need to come buy this hair"🤣🤣 now I did have a moment in my earlier post which was hilarious and very cringe and I was dead ass wrong. However I know im not the only bw that has experienced this sort of behavior from non bw. When I experienced this from the white girls in school when I was younger, my racist mother would tell me to talk about lice or say other disgusting shit and tbh now I can just run my hands through my own hair and shake my braids at them and it does the trick to get them to stop. Like ok, Becky, I have hair too plus the skintone you buy🤣 but I think that this behavior from non bw is cringe and I'm wondering if other bw especially natural hair girlies experience the same thing. Hell if other non bw that have witnessed this want to chime in, then feel free

Insecure/ less attractive non bw flipping their hair rant!!
