Need advice: BSc Physics vs BSc Maths for defence career and backup options .

Hi everyone,myquals: I’m a Class 12ty student (Maharashtra Board) from a humble background. I need to pick a degree soon and want realistic and grounded guidance.

My goals

1. Primary:Combat,leadership roles in defence (NDA/CDS/).
2. Secondary:Defence-tech roles (DRDO, HAL, ISRO CEPTAM).
3. Backup: Government exams (CGL, CHSL, CAPF).

My current situation

Average at physics and maths Weak at computer science Need a low-cost government college and a degree that leaves time for SSB prep + fitness • Need stability and low risk

1)My concernw regarding BSc Physics-Is MSc mandatory? Job reliability?

2)About BSc Maths- too abstract? Limited jobs without MSc?

What I need help regarding is:

1)Given my defence-first plan, and need for stability + low cost, which degree is the safer and smarter choice?

2)Would appreciate feedback from people who have done BSc for defence paths or work in DRDO/ISRO/defence exam prep.
