What actually makes a podcast pitch stand out to hosts?
I have been researching how people get invited as guests on podcasts, and the advice online is extremely mixed. Some say it is all about having a good story, others say it depends on outreach, and a few say podcast hosts only care about audience size.
For those who have actually pitched themselves (or booked guests), what made a pitch stand out enough to get a “yes”?
Was it the topic, the angle, the experience, or the way the pitch was structured?
I am trying to understand what really matters so I can follow the right approach.
