Best way to route ethernet? (TV and PC)
I have a room with two cat5e Ethernet ports in the walls. One of them is connected to a pc, and the other is connected to a wifi pod. I am looking to add ad a tv where the pod is connected, and need that Ethernet port for a console as well. If I added a gigabit switch, would I lose any of the wifi speed when having multiple devices connected to the switch? (The wifi in the room is usually around 400-450mbps). Also if I moved the pod instead to where the pc's ethernet port is, I would need a switch that could do 2.5gb for the pc right? (even though I only really need two ports)
I would appreciate anyone's feedback and suggestions!
