I love me some giant pants. I don't love how Torrid has some of their coolest pants behind their new labels, which makes them way more expensive.

I don't however, have any self control.

Starting off with the Festi wide leg jean. Got these a while ago. Everything I needed in a 90s vibe JNCO. The embroidery is nice. Theyre noticably giant. They've gone through several wears and washes. They just keep getting better.

Pros: so fuckin giant
Cons: can't see how great my butt is.

Next up we've got the Festi sky high super flare. I was a little nervous about these. I don't love distressed jeans a lot. I always get my foot stuck and rip them and then I look ridiculous. These are backed with a darker piece of denim, so I can't shove my foot through the holes. (Even the questionably placed hole by the butt.) The other denim is sewed in with a pink thread, not sure how I feel about it yet. I included a close up of the distressed part so you can see what I'm talking about. These don't seem to be any more skyhigh than any of their other high rise pants. I think they used the term sky high for some sick alliteration action.

Pros: giant. Butt looks great
Cons: unsure about the distressed look. Bought these in December so I have to get real careful about keeping the bottoms nice.

Things I noticed about both pairs:
They are VERY long. I'm 5'7, with a long torso, so I usually straddle that line between regular and short. These are both short and I would trip and die in regulars.
Not a whole lot of elastic in either pair. Neither pair has a lot of that traditional Torrid stretch when it comes to jeans. Keep an eye out on your sizing.
It looks like I took these pictures in a cave. Soft lighting is the best for eyeballs, not for pictures though.

For reference, I'm 5'7 and despite what my drivers license says, about 280. Both pairs of pants are a 20 short.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

If there's interst, I can also give a riveting review on the balloon pants.

Buying the Festi pants so you don't have to. Or do. I'm not your mom.
