Looking Vendors That Admit Strains Are Marketing Fiction

Lab studies (Johns Hopkins) have repeatedly shown there is more alkaloid difference between two leaves on the same tree than between most ‘strains.’ Red vein is just oxidized longer. That’s it. Everything else is marketing.

On the main r/kratom page you can find people posting stuff about how all strains are made up. It looks like it comes from wester marketing practices. Marketing 101 calls for a diversification of product selection to drive sales. No need for real differences when perception is all that matters.

I get the feeling that just about all vendors are going to know strains are made up but cant push back because the market has been so warped and vendors are forced into what is a bullshit system because they are simply responding to market demands.

I was able to find a few vendors that have created their kratom marketing around this truth bomb and have chosen to only sell red/white/green rather than feed into the warped system of kratom strains.

Top Tree Herbs- I have not heard about this company before but apparently they changed away from stains about 3 years ago and now only sell red/white/green. They have a blog section here that explains their reasoning as to why they dropped their strain names. Its just so great to see another vendor that is committed to the truth and so its good we give these guys a shout out.

Crisp Kratom- Their entire campaign is focuses around educating people to the fact that strains are an invention of western marketing practices to sell more and that they have no basis in reality. This blog post has some of the most well put together info when it comes to calling out the 'kratom strain' industry.

Does anyone know of any other vendors that are making a push against kratom strains? I think it would be great to make a list of vendors doing it right like this.
