Any recommendations for P2P file sharing?

I'm trying to move away from cloud-based file storage and I mostly just want to move files between my Macbook and Android phone. I usually just use a cable but that's been getting finicky lately and I misplaced the one I usually used so I'm looking into P2P. I've heard of Resilio Sync but I was wondering what open source options there are.
