How can I play the JP version?

Hello! I've been trying to play the JP Umamusume because of pure curiosity and I want to try it out. However, I've tried to install it on my laptop with a VPN, and I don't know if I have bad luck but it won't work, and if I try to emulate the game on the laptop, it gives me an error when I open the game. Does anyone know how to fix/install the JP version? Thanks!
