Unnecessary Boots

I’m about 6’2. I found an awesome pair of suede wedge heeled boots on Amazon in a 13 and they are actually comfortable. They are about a 3” heel. Wore them for the first time and had to run in the store to grab a snack. A guy sees me and says “Are you really that tall?” My first instinct is to say something snarky, but I restrain myself and say “I am really tall, but I also have a heel on today” as I lift my foot to show the heel. He then says “Well, that seems unnecessary” with a tone. I then say “Well, that seems rude” and walk away. I am now and forevermore referring to the boots as my “Unnecessary Boots”.
