Need a little help after husband's accident

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Long story short, my husband was in a bad accident where our car was totaled and husband received multiple injuries. He has multiple cracked ribs, torn muscles in both arms, concussion, whiplash. He is out of work for some time until the ribs heal. I work full time but unfortunately its not enough to keep us afloat. He is self employed so getting sick benefits is difficult in our situation. I'm kind of new to reddit and someone told me to take a chance on here. I appreciate everyone's time.
