UPDATE: Reached Silver in 2 days (thanks to a 6-hour deathmatch with a stranger)
Two days ago, I posted about hitting 2500 LP (Iron) on my first day. I said I'd aim for Silver next week.
Well... I'm already Silver (7000+ LP)!
What happened?
I met a random player in Casual Match. We played for 6 hours straight (0 pauses).
I got destroyed, but I learned so much about adapting, anti-airs, and patience, managing my Drive Gauge and Super Art levels.
[The results today:
I beat a Platinum Guile (took 2 rounds!).
I took a round off a Master Jamie twice (who was messing around, but still!).
I speedran through Bronze because everyone felt "slow" compared to that session.](pplx://action/translate)
To all beginners: Don't be afraid to play against stronger players. Getting wrecked for 6 hours was the best training arc ever.
Next stop: Gold? (Let's say 2 weeks this time... or maybe tomorrow? 😂)
