Got to love some good old “help”
I’m on day three of a migraine. My symptoms have been intense enough the I have had to leave work early the past two days. I was so nauseous yesterday that I could barely eat. By dinner I had eaten probably about 500 calories that day and was shaky. So I turned to the only food that consistently relives my migraine pain and I knew I would keep down, a pint of ice cream. I find being cold on the inside and not on my skin helps 🤷♀️. Well it helped a little but didn’t completely break the migraine. This morning, I’m laying in bed, haven’t gotten up yet to assess how I’m feeling. My mom come in I my room. Says she wanted to check on me because she didn’t see me all yesterday and says “have you considered that your diet is the reason you get migraines, just a thought” says she’s going to brunch then leaves. Thanks. Now I know you think it’s my fault I get migraine. And the headache re-intensifies. Oh and now I know my parents have been discussing me because my dad just repeated we she said to me. $10 says they were discussing if, just like I was told as kid when I expressed discomfort, I am over dramatic…
