To all on r/SpotifyPlaylists, hope you guys are well and having a fabulous weekend. 🙂

I've made a nostalgic 1990 inspired Balearic Beat style mix for that late-afternoon/sunset moment - the kind of thing you'd play by a pool or on a terrace as the light starts to drop.

It drifts between classic Balearic, House, Deep House, Soul, Hip-hop, Acid Jazz, Ambient, Indie, Rock and Pop.

If anyone's missing that Ibiza sunset energy right now, this one might hit the spot. Or perhaps you're feeling nostalgic for Ibiza circa 1990 and want to put something on to remind you of it, this could also do the trick. Or maybe it's just miserable outside, and this could brighten things up.

Here it is: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/62QPX2P4YaWanrILO6MLei?si=N12kNZObQ4u2NzQxxECiLg&pi=c95-A_CbTGSK3

Tracks by Sade, Prince, Primal Scream, Happy Mondays, Carly Simon, Chris Rea, The Stone Roses, The Cure, A Tribe Called Quest, Biz Markie, Soul II Soul, William Pitt, The Blow Monkeys, Electra, Backbeat Convention, Tullio De Piscopo, BBG, Electribe 101, 808 State, Sueno Latino, Adonis, Raze, Adeva, Turntable Orchestra, Pineapples, Don Carlos, Frankie Knuckles, The Beloved, N'Joi, & Jinny.

The blends are 8 and 16 bars despite 60 BPM variance over the mix. I've put some effort into flow and transitions so I hope you guys like it. 🙂
