Seeking advice: Growing as a Christian without a Christian community
Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some guidance from those who might have been in a similar situation.
I grew up in a non-Christian home, and today I still live my life surrounded by people who don’t believe. I don’t really have the time to attend church regularly, and because the people around me don’t know about my faith, it also feels difficult to take the step into a Christian community.
I genuinely want to live a life that reflects Christian values, but I’m unsure what changes I should be making in my daily life — and how to begin. I read the Bible, but I often struggle to understand what it means for my life right now.
Have any of you been in a similar situation? How did you navigate it? Do you have any advice, habits, resources, or perspectives that helped you grow in your faith while living in a mostly non-Christian environment?
I appreciate any insights you’re willing to share. Thank you!
