2 days late

Hello. I’m 22F and have PCOS. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative as negative can be. I had to take it because I FINALLY got approved for Metformin and can’t be pregnant while on it. So here’s my problem: I just realized I’m 2 days late on my period. It’s not really that big of a deal usually as my periods as usually crazy with having PCOS but my husband and I did have unprotected sex the same day I did the test. We’re catholic so we don’t believe in conception so I try to track my ovulation and so BBT and it’s been working great so far. Is it possible to get pregnant that fast? I plan on taking a test tomorrow but I wanted to hear some opinions. Being pregnant wouldn’t be bad by the way, I’ve had two miscarriages so a baby would be more than welcomed I’m just trying to focus on school right now.
