Grand Velas boutique vs. La Casa de la Playa

Hi everyone. Looking to get input on these 2 hotels. We have stayed at Arte, the artistas building before. Wouldnt go back for the price and thought service was lacking. But resort was lovely. We have also stayed at excellence, beloved, secrets etc. We have never been to Cabo so we were looking for something new. But after booking boutique we weren’t sure if it’s right fit. We are about service and food but also privacy. We also don’t want to be sitting on top of other guests around a pool, we want luxury etc. La casa is substantially more but we are willing to pay bc we are celebrating 20 years. We want chill with options to do stuff. Wasn’t sure if grand Velas has any day activities. Looking for suggestions and tips.
