Need advice on setting boundaries with my parents

hi! thank you for wanting to read what I have to say. Let me introduce myself: i’m 20 years old and i still live with my parents, but here’s the issue. since i was around 13, ive heard them having sex, and now that i’m older it’s gotten worse, because the noise usually wakes me up — especially on Saturdays.

i understand they have the right to be intimate, but i think it’s a major lack of respect that they don’t control their volume, especially considering that im on the second floor and they’re on the first.

i don’t know if i should tell them, just put up with this until i move out, or what to do.

the worst part is that im an only child, so i can’t rely on siblings to talk about this with them. it’s just me, and that makes it even more uncomfortable.

if anyone has suggestions on how to bring this up, please let me know. Thank you.
