False charge door open alerts in cold weather

I don't remember having this happen last winter, but when it first started getting cold again I've been getting the alert for the charge door open any time I start the car ~40f or lower.

I've verified the door was fully closed and the mechanism seems to be working fine, but I'm getting this alert every time. I'm guessing with the colder weather something is just shy of triggering whatever sensor is used.

Curious if anyone else has been having this issue.
