PS5 FREEZES ON PS PLUS EXTRA STORE

my brother recently got ps5 from US. its been around 3 months, we regularly clean it. however ever since the black friday event whnever we went to ps plus extra to change game catalogue it would freeze(this has happened 4-5 times). it freezes on the store page and we have to restart it. has anyone else also been experiencing this and how to prevent it
