For those using ClassDojo: What does parental access look like? Do you grant access normally?

Classroom Management & Strategies

After a lot of trying, I finally got accepted into ClassDojo, sending my documents and everything.

Testing all the tools, I realized that the application in the Parents' version is very polluted with advertisements from the website itself, with the "premium" plans and resources that parents can purchase.

The school where I teach is public, for low and medium income families, and these paid plans would not make sense for them. Not only that, but some less educated parents may even purchase a plan "unintentionally", due to a false or misread click.

Considering all this and considering that the application in the parents' version is "polluted" with these messages about paid resources, disrupting the user experience, I'm thinking about sharing just the link for the student version — it's much simpler, without visual pollution, without risks, very intuitive and straight to the point. I really didn't find the version for parents enjoyable or viable at all.

What do you guys think about this? Does it bother you too? What do you do?

I really liked the application and the system. That's all that's bothering me at the moment. Next year will be the first time I plan to use it.
