RN to therapist?? Thoughts?

Unsure of wanting to be a psych NP im not that interested in med management. But i do like the idea of going back to school for masters. I’m a nurse in a state that pays terrible compared to other states and i simply hate being a nurse. Starts at $30/hr. Wanted to see if there’s other nurses that’s done it or if it’s worth it. I do have a passion for counseling/therapy and was just curious about private practice
