Being Pre-everything sucks when entering the dating pool
I'm transmasc enby, want top surgery at some point and starting T in a month(hell ya!) and it sucks how hard it is to interact with potential partners.
Interacting with people in general isn't much of an issue for me, plus I'm comfortable being perceived as feminine, my name is already neutral and I can tolerate others perceiving me as a woman, especially since it doesn't come up often in conversation.
But gosh it sucks when guys hit on me or show interest because I know they'll most definitely not be into me once I'm post everything, either that or they'll try to make me cis and more feminine than I comfortably am. It always pops in my head. I know they want me to be a typical wife and that's not going to happen. There's a guy I chat with that keeps using feminine terms for me even when it's unnecessary af, and it makes me so freaking uncomfortable when he uses those terms but I don't know how to tell him without making things awkward and him probing more into it.
I go on dating apps and it's worse, either you get chasers, people who just want to dabble in gay intimacy or people who just see you as some experiment or woman lite.
Sometimes it makes me feel like maybe I'm missing out on a good partner? Maybe I should just conform and be what they want me to be, maybe I'm just lying to myself.
I just want a loving relationship where I can be myself, an mlm one would be nice. I just try to have hope because I know amazing people exist out there but it can be really discourage🫠
