Should I mention I'm studying for the CPA when interviewing with a large corporate (non–public accounting) company?
I’m interviewing with a large corporate company (not public accounting), and I’m unsure whether mentioning that I’m studying for the CPA will help or hurt.
On one hand, it shows commitment to my career and technical growth. But I’m worried it might signal that I plan to leave once I pass the exams.
Does mentioning CPA studies make a candidate look stronger, or does it raise concerns about future turnover?
