Does anyone else also hate it when the media they like changes in adaptations?😔

Like I’m actually losing my mind everytime my special interests/ hyperfixations get changed in adaptations and everyone else seems to like it because their “good changes” or “something new”. I HATE IT. I HATE IT SO MUCH. I feel like I’m going insane half the time my favourite games get adapted into shows or movies and everyone LOVES THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY CHANGE IT SO MUCH. Like am I the only person who WANTS to see a carbon copy on the big screen? Like I can’t tell if I’m just a hater or if it’s like my autism not liking change
