How to deal with constant only poke comps

How do you guys deal with the constant AFK poke comps nearly every single game? It's genuinely so boring to and mind numbing to play against and even to play as, I'd say around 75% of my aram games played one team is playing a fully ranged poke comp and the other can do nothing but just sit under turret. Is there anything to remedy this? I play tanks or engage for the team, but the poke from five different champions is just not possible to play into. Heavily debating to never queue aram ever again since it's gotten this bad, I've talked to my friend group and they all feel the same way and are also debating to quit arams all together because of this.
