Clunk sound when shifting to reverse in an incline driveway

I’m experiencing a clunk sound when shifting reverse in our slightly incline driveway. These only happens when i shift in reverse. I heard a loud clunk sound in front driver side. My breaks a new and driveshaft. What should be the possible cause for this? Thanks for your answers.
