Switching from compound to Costco Minox foam

I have been on a compound liquid from my seem of 6% minoxidil, .0125% tret, .25% spiro for a year now. It’s $60/mo and I can’t do it anymore.

My hair growth is great and I really don’t want to move backward.

I’ve seen a lot of people just use the Costco 5% minoxidil foam and it works.

Anyone switch from a compound to plain minoxidil? I feel like my derm isn’t giving me a straight answer bec of the ties to the compound pharmacy.
