GPA and financial clearance
I was doing really well in uni until I didn’t have the money to pay to sit finals and failed all the courses that semester by default. Now I’m trying to get my GPA up but no matter how many As I get it barely moves my GPA. Then I failed a course again bc it was a group project and I and the other members found out too late that one of the members didn’t do their part correctly. I’m finally in my final year but I might not be able to sit finals in two days bc my dad is an electrical contractor (Jamaica) and his clients can’t pay bc of the devastation brought about by hurricane Melissa. I just want to graduate and get it over with. Degrees are ranked - first class, upper second class, lower second class and pass. My gpa is at lower second class and it was first class honours before I failed a semester. The field I want to go into doesn’t accept less than upper second class degree and my transcript will also be so bad so can I even apply for a masters? I don’t know what to do.
