Non-Scale Victories
For those who had the surgery and lost weight, what are some of the things that make you happy? I’m thrilled since I figured out I can double cross my legs, which I last recall doing as a teenager. I love being able to walk for an hour or two shopping without my back killing me. I love wearing smaller sizes and being a lot more comfortable sleeping. And I can sit crossed-legged on the floor and get up. I’m 68. Surgery 2.5 years ago. Lost 50% of my body weight. It feels great.
