a lot of people as of late (namely canadians, actually solely canadians) keep posting on here asking why nobody has started a general strike and comment acting like it’s a moral failure of every american that a general strike has not started. general strikes require full community involvement and mutual aid funds which require real american currency to keep everyone afloat while people inevitably get fired and lose their income and health insurance. if you are that desperate for a general strike in america, donate to mutual aid funds. and if you’re american, work within your own communities so you can keep each other afloat if and when
