Surprisingly, I think I like OT more than 2.

Let me preface with that I'm not saying anything from an objective perspective, I'm just saying that I'm just feeling better while playing this one.

The setting is more my taste, it's more nature and fantasy. I like the abilities and passives more (love having access to the tier 2 spells just in the kit), the character stories feel really emotional so far, I've been more inclined to use the items in this one (which makes finding them in chests much more enjoyable. I didn't really use them much in 2).

Can't say I've really *missed* the latent powers or the day/night cycle. I liked them, obviously, but this still feels like a full experience without them, if that makes sense?

Idk, I'm just *connecting* with it more. I can't wait to get the advanced jobs too, I remember loving them.
