Need advice from experienced collectors!

I’m fairly new to collecting, I own just a simple barrel clasp snake chain and I’m going to the store tomorrow. I’m torn between another simple clasp but the heart shape, or the pave heart clasp. My only concern is I’m not sure how their pave holds with daily wearing. Should I expect the stones to come loose and really lose their shine, or should I just go cheaper with the simple heart clasp?
