New Hospital

Recently started working at a new hospital. I’m on my third week of orientation, I have two years experience of an RN but I more so need orienting on how things are done at this hospital and their unit. Within the past two weeks, I have messaged two different doctors with questions regarding the patients and they have written me back with nasty messages such as telling me they’re dealing with ill patients and that my message is not a priority. Mind you, I work on an oncology unit and I sent a dr one message and then did a follow up because they left me on read… Any thoughts on this? I have never had rude push back from doctors. And yes, I have thick skin but it’s just annoying that I’m trying to advocate for my patients and get nasty messages back.
