med school course prerequisites as a life science student

hi guys I wanted to go to medical school after uni. im in my 2nd year doing a double major in human bio and physiology. I have already completed my breadth requirements, calc 1, phy131, psy100, soc100, chm135/136, bio120/130/230/220 I'm assuming I have all the prereqs for med skl ? I heard some NEED English classes? does it need to be like a specific English class? bc all of the electives ive taken required essays so idk. Looking for some ppl in upper years that are close to applying to Canadian med skls!!
