I’m thinking about confessing but how?

I’m planning on confessing but not sure about whether to do it over text or in person. They both have their down sides. Over text, I will not be able to see their true reaction. In person, I might get too nervous and fumble. I don’t have any classes with my crush but I sometimes go to their first period to hang out in the class before the bell. I also have lunch with them but I don’t want to embarrass them in front of their friends. Help!
