Hi please help me with my Kolkata itinerary!

Namoshkar ! I’m a 22 yo keralite planning to visit Kolkata and Darjeeling in February second week! Since WB elections will be in corner by then, will be it a bad idea to go with my plan? I really wanna visit and I can’t postpone but cancel if I can’t make it in Feb as my college will start in March prolly! Please let me know what it will be like to visit WB prior to assembly election.
