Based on recent data (2024-2025), these credit cards stand out for their generous online-shopping rewards structures.

Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card

Offers 5 % cashback on Amazon purchases for Prime members; 3 % for non-Prime users.

2 % cashback on many partner merchants / services (via Amazon Pay / select partner brands), and 1 % on all other spends.

No joining fee or annual fee — lifetime-free card.

Cashback is credited to your Amazon Pay balance — very handy if you’re Amazon-loyal.

✅ Best for: Frequent Amazon users (especially if you already have Prime) — especially for regular shopping, groceries, or Amazon-partner spends.

---

Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card

Offers 5 % cashback on Flipkart (and certain associated platforms like Myntra / 2GUD / Cleartrip etc depending on partnership status).

Some variants or associated partner-merchant benefits extend to additional platforms (depending on promotion / merchant tie-ups).

Usually comes with a modest annual/joining fee (often ₹500), but for heavy Flipkart shoppers, the value can outweigh the fee.

✅ Best for: People whose primary online shopping is on Flipkart (or related platforms), or who want Flipkart-centric benefits.

---

HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card

Offers ~5 % cashback on many big online platforms — including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and other partner platforms like Swiggy, Tata CLiQ etc depending on transaction type.

1 % (or base rate) on other spends outside online shopping — making it a flexible “all-rounder”.

Good option if you shop across multiple platforms — not just one e-commerce site.

✅ Best for: Users who shop from different online stores (not just Amazon or Flipkart) — offers breadth + decent cashback.

---

SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card (and other cards from same issuer/bank)

Offers elevated reward points (or multipliers) on online spends across many categories — sometimes including Amazon, Flipkart, travel, lifestyle, entertainment etc.

Because of the reward-point approach (instead of direct cashback), you may need to redeem or meet certain thresholds — but for frequent online shoppers, this can add up well.

Often offers periodic e-voucher bonuses or incentive bonuses for certain spending slabs.

✅ Best for: Shoppers who want flexibility — maybe mixing online shopping, travel, entertainment — and are comfortable dealing with points/vouchers rather than direct cashback.

🧮 How to Choose — What to Match With Your Shopping Habits

Choosing the “right” card depends a lot on what kinds of online shopping you do, how often, and where. Here’s how to decide:

Your shopping style / need	Recommended Card Type

Mostly Amazon, regular & heavy	Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card — high cashback and no fee.
Mostly Flipkart / Myntra / partner-platforms	Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card — optimized for Flipkart ecosystem.
Shopping across multiple platforms (Amazon + other portals + lifestyle/food apps)	HDFC Bank Millennia or SBI SimplyCLICK — broader coverage.
Prefer reward points, periodic bonuses or not fixed to one e-commerce site	SBI SimplyCLICK or other flexible-spend cards with reward points.

Other considerations

Check annual fee / joining fee vs how much you shop — sometimes a card with fee pays off only if you shop often.

See cashback/points caps or limits — some cards reward only up to a certain spend or cap per month/quarter.

Some cards give instant discount or sale-period bonuses (depending on bank & sale campaigns).

---

⚠️ What to Watch Out For — Pitfalls & Limitations

Caps & slabs: Some cards have limits on maximum cashback or restrict which merchants/platforms qualify for high cashback.

Card eligibility in sale-period offers: During big sale events, not all cards may be eligible for extra “bank discounts” even if they normally give cashback.

Annual/Joining Fees: If you shop infrequently, high-fee cards may not be worth it.

Redemption/Bonus Complexity: Cards offering points (vs direct cashback) may require you to redeem carefully — sometimes rewards expire if not used.

Over-spending risk: With easy online shopping + cashback lure — it’s easy to overspend; treat credit card as tool, not temptation.

🎯 My Recommendation

If I shop online frequently, I’d consider Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card (for Amazon loyalty) and HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card (for flexibility across multiple platforms).
If my shopping is mostly on Flipkart + Myntra — then Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card becomes the go-to.
If I want flexibility and rewards rather than fixed cashback — SBI SimplyCLICK is a good “catch-all” backup.
