Query about Pork Dry Fry

ASK NE

I am a hilly northie, so excuse my ignorance. I usually make pork curry, but never tried pork dry fry.

I asked three of my friends from the Northeast (won't mention states) about how they make pork dry fry. The frying part was similar. However before that was different.

A said they use a pressure cooker to cook the pork and then fry it.

B said they boil it in water and then fry it.

C said they directly fry it.

Could someone tell me what the difference would be in taste ? Which would be better for a pork cooking beginner ? Different tips in receipe would also be welcome. Thanks.
