I believe the GOG version of Gamma is bugged.

I played the GOG version of gamma for like 12 hours searched well over 20 stashes no basic tools and so I gave up and decided to try and debug menu them into the game. At some point I decided to try the manual download of the mods instead of the GOG version and it was maybe 3hours into the game I got a Yellow stash and it had tools in it. That's when i realized the GOG version was bugged because I wasn't getting yellow stashes at all. It was my first time with Gamma so I didn't know that's how you got basic tools and that I was missing out on yellow stashes. Also the stashes were much more inconsistent on the GOG version it would say coordinates added and when I went to look there was nothing on the map. So overall since starting over with a new save on the standalone I'm having a lot better luck getting stashes to actually show up. I've played for maybe half the time as the GOG version and I have basic and advanced tools already.
