38 [M4F] NYC / Online - too old to try submission?

After becoming single recently, I found that I’ve been exploring the neglected part of my switch side: submission. The kind where a firm, caring voice from a domme will send me into action. Holding a position, breathing how you want, touching in a certain way, not touching, etc. Giving up to mindless obedience really strikes a nerve.

I really like being masculine and don’t want to deviate from that. Moreover, I don’t like degradation or the demeaning kind of submission. I really love that positive, caring kind (gentle dominance?).

I’m sorry I’m not better read on the whole dynamic, but maybe someone will want to chat who is interested in chatting with a new/naive, yet older submissive man.

Also, I’m a total academic nerd (documentaries and non-fiction are my jam) and really love to workout too. I have a secret fitness fantasy, but it seems to silly write out at the moment.
