Reading an otherwise awesome book series, but a small thing that is annoying as he

I know it was normal in the past, and was often the rule of thumb, but I just got into the Nancy Drew books. Loving the stories, but I cannot get over how married women are all introduced as Mrs. Husband's Full Name. Well, a lot of them are. Sometimes I find a book where there's someone called Mrs. Lastname without a man's first name in there.

Actually is kinda bothering me which really blows because I don't want it to ruin my experience. I have some of the more modern spinoffs and rebooted series, and it's easier to read them because they don't do that.

Also what's interesting is in movies made before the 70s, married women don't seem to generally get called Mrs. Him for some reason, but in books and a lesser extent, TV, they do.
