Thoughts about what may and what I think can’t be Mitsuba’s yorishiro

I think that his yorishiro may actually be the penguin. Because he got it from Kou, an important person to Mitsuba. But I’ve heard people say that it can’t be the penguin keychain because the penguin keychain got destroyed. But if you look at Tsukasa he became a yorishiro and he got destroyed too, right?

Also I’ve seen many people say that Kou may become Mitsuba’s yorishiro. But I’m pretty sure that I have evidence that he can’t. So looking at Yako she loved Misaki dearly and she is a born supernatural. Just like Mitsuba. And Misaki died. And Misaki didn’t become a yorishiro. The scissors he gave her did. So I think born supernaturals can’t have humans they meet as supernaturals to become yorishiro’s. Only objects. Now here is the confusing part is Hakubo a supernatural? I don’t really know. The Minimoto clan, is a clan of known exorcists and they killed all of the Oni’s (except Hakubo). So are Oni’s supernaturals? If so, that would throw my whole theory off.

I have also seen some people say that it may be the gardening book or old Mitsuba’s camera. And to that I say that it has been shown that Mitsuba doesn’t really care all that much about his past self. He is curious about what their life was like, but not so much so that something from old Mitsuba’s life would become his most prized possession.
