It seems like most people see athletes as super confident and extroverted individuals who have their confidence bolstered by their physique or their skills. They're not shy at all about showing off the results of their hard work, dedication, and training. They're more than happy to demonstrate the skills that make them so good at their respective sports. But how about the ones who don't try to stand out? Does it matter whether or not they're introverted?

How about me, the shy small Asian girlie who walks in as discreetly as she can without attracting attention to herself? Me, when I set my things down in the least busy area and warm up in my baggy hoodie and sweatpants, hiding my toned thighs as I do my lunges to stretch. My hood is up but do you still see my long dark hair peeking out? When I stretch my arms above my head, do you see a flash of bare midriff when my hoodie and shirt ride up every so slightly (you pervert~)?

Are you watching as I finish my warm up routine and put on a brave smile and start to play? Is it heartwarming for you to watch me start to smile and laugh and let loose as the adrenaline starts to flow?
