help with jizo statue?

I don't really know if this would be considered a spoiler but i'm marking it as one just in case.

I'm on NG++, just finished my 2nd playthrough (fox wedding ending). i'm about to start the good ending, and i wanted to try and give the brooch to the first jizo statue by the shimizu house, but the faded bride doll is already there. I've just been overwriting the same file when I save the game, will something different happen once i've completed the 3rd ending (the fox wets its tail) to allow me to give the brooch to the statue? i can't find literally anything to help me otherwise
