CHAOS HAS ARRIVED!

Duke won and Virginia is eliminated. I was this close to calling it "Congrats ACC", but Miami still has a chance to get an at-large bid (somehow) with Bama losing. This DOES mean, however, that for the first time ever, we will have TWO Group of 5 champions competing in this year's CFP. Congratulations to the Dukes of James Madison University! And congrats to the Sun Belt! They will join Tulane in receiving quick first-round exits to their respective opponents (oh look, a potential Ole Miss/Tulane rematch. How exciting? And less said about JMU drawing Oregon.).

In another world of chaos, the reigning National Champions have been beaten for the first time this year. For a second year running, Ohio State will not be Big Ten Champion. It instead is a team that has not won it since 1967 and has not won it outright since 1945: THE INDIANA HOOSIERS. The drought is over! Indiana has defeated the Buckeyes for the first time since 1987, a losing streak of 30 games. Indiana is now the new #1. They will be #1 in the polls for the first time EVER.

Oh and if you think that's not enough chaos, in the the FCS, North Dakota State, a team that were HEAVY favorites to win the whole FCS playoffs, got eliminated in the first round by unseeded Illinois State. They were 23.5-point underdogs! Sheesh!

What a time to be alive.
