I don't know how to say this or am I being an overthinker . But I'm seeing a guy from past few months , in initial days he was the one asking for commitment and saying as much time you want and then when I got feelings for him , got attached and then last friday he said that I can't give you commitment due to family reasons.

PS : 1. Last month his father went through a surgery , and by god's grace he is fine now.

2. He has a strict family , like no love shove scene allowed. He is the eldest son.

3. His friend , let's take him X , that X guy isn't getting commitment from another girl he likes , and he wasn't knowing about us , and when he got to know , my man suddenly realised he cannot give me commitment . Could be connection?

4. The guy I'm seeing is very nice , I love him very much , but cannot force him for commitment , and day before yesterday he confessed face to face about the commitment thing , like why he can't give and from that time he is constantly saying sorry to me . And he says he cares about me.

I don't know what should I do.
