My doctor did not remove all my haemorrhoids.

I had a hemorrhoidectomy last year for a grade 3 hemorrhoid I’d been dealing with for over 10 years. I’m really glad I did it, but after the surgery my doctor told me they didn’t remove everything. They said taking all of it out might make it harder for me to poop, so they left some tissue and told me to just manage the rest.

The problem is the ones that were left behind are also grade 3, and I still have to push them back in after every bowel movement. Now I’m thinking about getting another treatment—maybe electrocoagulation, rubber band ligation, or sclerotherapy.

Do you think I should get the remaining hemorrhoids treated or removed? And would another procedure affect my bowel control or cause any narrowing?
