How did the ghosts corner William Afton if they are trapped in the remnant?
Hello all! I am brushing up on the franchise by watching fnaf timeline videos, and I agree the most personally with Matpat's interpretation. However, what confuses me the most about a lot of these videos is the whole situation with remnant.
He finds the endoskeletons, melts down the metals, and injects them into the funtime animatronics to experiment. It makes perfect sense he went back to see if there was more at the restaurant. However he gets cornered by the ghosts. Most agree also that Cassidy, the one he brutally murdered, is the one that gets close and chases him into the suit.
My main question is how are the ghosts appearing to him if they are all trapped in the remnant now in the animatronics? If their souls mixed together, how do they exist as separate spirits out of his bunker in the restaurant?
I assumed William was just a narcissist and was unable of feeling guilt, just selfish fear for his own life, so I ruled out that they are hallucination manifestations of his guilt for the murders.
