Has anyone else been contacted by a Reddit user named Rdssf (claims his real name is Junior)? Scam or legit?

I wanted to share something strange that happened and see if anyone else has come across this person.

A Reddit user named Rdssf, who says his real name is Junior, reached out to me saying he is based in South Korea. What threw me off is that his WhatsApp number is Brazilian. He cannot send DMs on Reddit and his profile looks very new.

He added me to a large WhatsApp group that looked like an Only business community and also added me to his let it chat. As soon as I joined, a random girl from Africa reached out to me asking for help with marketing for safari visits. It all felt very out of place and very scripted, almost like they were funneling people into a staged network.

The combination of a South Korea location, a Brazilian phone number, no ability to DM, and being dropped into massive group chats with strangers gave me a bad feeling. It did not feel legitimate so I left the chats and blocked everything.

Has anyone else run into this user or these group chats? Is this some kind of coordinated scam network or something more innocent? Curious if other people have seen the same pattern.
